Bronte and Millie's Collective worship

Bronte and Millie led a very informative and thought provoking collective worship on Saving our planet. 

Thank you for all the hard work that went into planning it. We enjoyed it. 

Explorer Dome

All of our classes visited the Explorer Dome where they learned about space and the stars.

It was a brilliant experience and all the children loved it ! 

They were set a challenge to use their imagination to make up their own stories about the stars. 

Good luck! I look forward to reading some of them. 

I went inside the dome with Cygnus. We were all filled with awe and wonder.

Times tables challenge

Today Cassiopeia invited me to join them in a maths times tables challenge. They have been working hard to get 100% in mixed times table questions. I am glad to say that I got 95% first time and second time I achieved 100%!!! Phew!

 I hope that you all had a good week off. It is lovely to be back at Rowde Academy.

We have a busy week ahead, on Wednesday we have Canon Harold Stevens, from the Diocese, visiting us. He is following in the footsteps of Bishop Edward.

On Friday we have the Star Discovery Dome visiting. We will all learn about our star constellations and I am really looking forward to the visit.
